How It Started

A timeline no one asked for, but here we are.

2022

Started graphic design.

Discovered that making things look good is harder than it looks. Shocking revelation.

2023

Built first website.

It was mostly div soup and inline styles. It worked. That felt like enough.

2024

Learned hosting.

Deployed something to a real server. Felt like an astronaut. Still do, a little.

2024

Discovered DNS.

Propagation time: 48 hours. My patience: 47 hours and 59 minutes.

2024

Regretted discovering DNS.

Nobody warned me. Consider this your warning.

⚠️ Still haunts me
2025

Created Palestine Profile Maker.

Built a simple tool for generating Palestine-support profile pictures. Turns out showing solidarity is something people want to make visible.

2026

Still learning.

The stack grows. The imposter syndrome is familiar now. We coexist.

How I Build

Three things that didn't come from a textbook.

01
🚀

Speed First

I prefer shipping a working version over planning the perfect version. Perfection is just procrastination with good posture.

02
🔨

Learn By Building

Most of my skills came from projects, not tutorials. Tutorials end. Projects have production incidents.

03
✂️

Simplicity Wins

If two solutions work, I usually choose the simpler one. Future me sends a thank you note every time.

Developer Notes

Things I wrote down so I wouldn't forget. Didn't help.

Note #12

Spent 4 hours fixing a bug.

The solution was one missing semicolon.

Note #27

The original design looked worse.

Trust me.

Note #31

Never edit production at 2 AM.

Never.

Note #44

It worked on localhost.

That should count for something.

Note #58

"Just one more feature" is never just one more feature.

Note #63

The documentation said it would work.

The documentation was wrong.
